FAQ
Why landscape only?
Most cloud photos are wide. Held sideways, the cloud fills the screen and there's room to draw.
No clouds nearby?
Tap “Find a cloud”, then pick “Today” or any of the built-in skies (more open up the more you draw).
After using Apple Pencil, my finger doesn't draw anymore?
That's to prevent stray marks: once you've used the Pencil, your finger moves, pinches and undoes by default. Turn on “Draw with fingers too” under “More” on the canvas.
Do my ★ follow me to a new phone or a reinstall?
Yes, as long as you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account: your ★ and everything you bought come along. Without iCloud, they're kept on this device only.
Do my drawings sync through iCloud?
Not automatically. Drawings live on this device and move to a new phone with iCloud Backup or device transfer. Deleting the app deletes them.
I paid, but the ★ didn't arrive?
Quit Cloudia completely and open it again; the app will credit any purchase it missed. If they still aren't there, write to me with your Apple receipt (Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History). For refunds, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
The phone is on silent, but I still hear sound?
Only in “Shape a cloud”, and only if you allowed the microphone: to hear you blow, that screen's sound doesn't follow the silent switch. It goes back to normal when you leave.
I got a refund. Why did my ★ go down?
When a purchase is refunded, the ★ it added are taken back. If you'd already spent them, your balance goes below zero for a while, and the ★ you earn next fill it in first.
